Academics - Overview

At Siddharth International Public School we have worked systematically to make the educative process more participative and interactive. These process include reference books for Reading, Sports and Physical Development, Co-Curricular Activities, General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, Social Responsibilities and Talent nurturing etc.

We provide an optimal teacher to student ratio of not more than 1:30, thereby enabling the teachers to give individual and personalised attention to the students.


Siddharth International Public School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. Graded courses of study, spread over a period of thirteen years, are prescribed, from the Kindergarten to the Higher Secondary Classes. The medium of instruction is English with Hindi as the second language and Sanskrit the third. The academical session starts from the 1st working day in April. The examinations are based on the latest CCE pattern with two formative assessments and one summative assessment in each term.

Assessment Policy:

The school will follow a system of continuous and comprehensive assessment throughout the academic year. The students will be assigned grades for academic evaluation and co-scholastic assessment. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is done throughout the year as per CBSE norms. Grades are awarded. Students are graded in everything they do. For Std. X there would be no board examination. XII takes place at the end of the academic year. The breakage of the marks is as follows:

FA1 10%
FA2 10%
SA1 30%
FA3 10%
FA4 10%
SA2 30%

House System:

In order to induce competitive spirit. the school follows the House System. there are five houses named afetr our honourable leaders and educationalists. As:- 1) Nehru, 2) Tagore, 3) Subhash, 4) Gandhi, 5) Indira.

Each house is under the charge of a House incharge. House master/Mistress and prefects (Boys and Girls) who are responsible for the tone of discipline in the school.The Students are trained in shouldering the respnibilities through the system.
